So I Have A Friend Who Set Out To Disprove Christianity:
and all other Religions.
She is one of the smartest people I know.
And now she’s a Christian .
After almost a 2 year journey,
of trying to PROVE the Christian faith
was full of brain dead, brain washed people,
bible thumpers, logically inaccurate people
who were too ‘amazed’ with fictional characters.
She’s come to her conclusion.
The girl who finds scientific inaccuracies in her Biology book.
who proves her teachers wrong time and time again.
And has an amazing scientific grasp on the world and how it works…
is NOW a Christian.
She said:
“I guess I have to say that although my scientific quest to prove everything wrong didn’t work out, I would have to say, I don’t regret trying to do this, because I got so much more out of it than disproving all the religions. And it’s definitely not an easy thing to do. Like, to be a Christian, I mean. But I would say it was worth it. Because if I had managed to disprove Christianity I would still be lost and confused, which isn’t fun. So for anybody out there who thinks they can do it, I would encourage you to try it, because, maybe, maybe you’ll fail and see the truth too. I once told a friend who didn’t understand, it’s like somebody whos’ desperately grasping on to a 5 dollar bill, when someone is standing right in front of them holding out a free 500 dollar bill, and all they have to do is take. All YOU have to do is take it.”
feel free to add her on her new tumblr:
Interesting. Please realize that there are FAR more people who go through such a process and DO end up realizing that Christianity is primarily hogwash. I would be interested to hear her scientific reasons for determining otherwise. My own rather in depth studies reach the rather opposite conclusion, I’m afraid.
