  1. Jesus wanted figs, the tree was out of season so it had no fruit. Jesus was pissed, he cursed the tree and it withered and died. Maybe it’s just me, but if I had magic Jesus power, I would have used it to make the tree produce fruit out of season instead of smiting it.
