High ResolutionBatshit Bachmann: It’s my Christian ‘duty’ to repeal Obamacare before it ‘literally kills’ kids
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) on Thursday insisted that it was her “duty as a believer in Christ” repeal President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform law before “it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens.”
In a speech on the House floor, the Minnesota Republican thanked Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX) for continuing the fight to undo Obamacare.
“The American people, especially vulnerable women, vulnerable children, vulnerable senior citizens, now get to pay more and get less,” Bachmann opined. “That’s why we’re here because we’re saying let’s repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens!”
“Let’s not do that!” she exclaimed. “Let’s love people, let’s care about people. Let’s repeal it now while we can.”
Bachmann explained that she was fighting Obamacare because she was a “born again believer in Jesus Christ.”
“And I believe, as part of my duty as a believer in Christ and what he has done for me, that we should do for the least of those who are in our midst,” she said. “That’s my personal belief and my personal conviction. And that’s why I want our government to create the space so that we can help people, because I’ll guarantee you one thing, Mr. Speaker, this doesn’t help people.”
Burgess thanked the former Republican presidential candidate for her remarks, adding that she had “a way of stating these things that none of the rest of us are capable of.”

"Bachmann’s on to something: dangerous fundamentalists have indeed set up camp deep inside the capital. She can find one in her office. She need only look in the mirror."

This woman is too obviously an idiot. And yet, in a way I can’t fully describe, she seems more evil than Palin, but not quite as evil as Santorum.

Michele Bachmann, John Sununu and a new McCarthyism
Americans aren’t endorsing a return to the “Red Scare,” when being a union or civil-rights activist could be enough to warrant an appearance before the House Committee on Un-American Activities. But plenty of people are shouting accusations of “communist,” “socialist” and “fascist” from placards and rooftops. At the top of their list is the democratically elected president of the United States.
You would think Obama’s achievements and the life he’s made with his wife and children illustrate the fulfillment of the American dream — a man without family name or fortune rising through hard work and education to the nation’s highest office — even if you disagree with his economic plan or health care law and want to vote him out in November.
But some opponents need to make him a man without a country, to use the ugly language of an ugly time, and to put his supporters in the same boat, preferably one headed away from U.S. shores…
It’s troubling when [Republicans John Sununu, Michele Bachmann, Allen West] and so many others are only too willing to take on the un-American job of deciding who belongs in America, the first and only rule being: Agree with us on matters of politics and policy, or — as West instructed liberals — get out.](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7inli0nGV1qztsh3o1_1280.jpg)

High ResolutionBachmann says Muslim Brotherhood embedded in U.S. government
In letters sent to several top-level government agencies, Representative Michele Bachmann claims that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated multiple branches of the United States government. Bachmann goes on to claim that the organization has successfully placed individuals in high-ranking Obama Administration positions, and lists Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin as one such example. She also claims that the group has infiltrated the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and “potentially even in the National Intelligence Agency.” (Photos via Gage Skidmore, zennie62) source

"MICHELE BACHMANN and a Christian Broadcasting Network reporter think she ran an ‘impeccable’ and ‘mistake-free’ campaign — Christian Broadcasting Network reporter David Brody: You ran pretty much an impeccable campaign, in terms of a mistake-free campaign. Michele Bachmann: Thank you, it really was. Brody: It pretty much was. Bachmann: It really was, we were extremely careful, and we were almost mistake free, but for those two points, Elvis Presley’s birthday and John Wayne’s birthplace. I’ve apologized, and we moved beyond. Brody: Interesting."

High Resolution…
MICHELE BACHMANN accuses President Obama of ‘waving a tar baby in the air’ – ”This is just about waving a tar baby in the air and saying that something else is a problem,” Bachmann told Florida-based conservative news organization Shark Tank on Wednesday. “I have never seen a more irresponsible president who is infantile in the way that he continually blames everyone else for his failure to first diagnose the problem and second to address the problem. It’s always everyone else’s fault,” the Tea Party darling added. The term originates from the “Uncle Remus” stories, in which a doll made of tar and turpentine is used to snare Br’er Rabbit. While “tar baby” is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as “something from which it is nearly impossible to extricate oneself,” it has long been recognized as a derogatory term for African Americans.

I think your head should just spontaneously explode when you make such a tragically ironic statement. I get the feeling that Michelle Bachmann is not self-aware, she’s just a talking-point repeating automaton developed in the basement of Oral Roberts University.

Michelle Bachmann is unbelievable on Piers Morgan right now. Literally, unbelievable
- Piers Morgan: we're you as appalled as I was with Rush limbaugh's rhetoric?
- Michelle Bachmann: what I thought of first is this is a 3D example of what Obamacare is going to mean in the lives of every American...

These teenagers are awesome. Michele Bachmann is an awful, ignorant, idiotic person. She’s one of the people I really wish I could exile to the outer layers of the planet. She failed to answer one of their questions intelligently. Groan. ~ Kim

From the Des Moines Register, here’s how Michele Bachmann responded to a student who heads her high school’s Gay-Straight Alliance.
JANE SCHMIDT: One of my main concerns is government support for the LGBT community. So my question is what would you do to protect GSAs in high school and support the LGBT community.
BACHMANN: Well, No. 1, all of us as Americans have the same rights. The same civil rights. And so that’s really what government’s role is, to protect our civil rights. There shouldn’t be any special rights or special set of criteria based upon people’s preferences. We all have the same civil rights.
JANE SCHMIDT: Then, why can’t same-sex couples get married?
BACHMANN: They can get married, but they abide by the same law as everyone else. They can marry a man if they’re a woman. Or they can marry a woman if they’re a man.
JANE SCHMIDT: Why can’t a man marry a man?
BACHMANN: Because that’s not the law of the land.
JANE SCHMIDT: So heterosexual couples have a privilege.
BACHMANN: No, they have the same opportunity under the law. There is no right to same-sex marriage.
JANE SCHMIDT: So you won’t support the LGBT community?
BACHMANN: No, I said that there are no special rights for people based upon your sex practices. There’s no special rights based upon what you do in your sex life. You’re an American citizen first and foremost and that’s it.Let’s Substitute women’s suffrage for marriage equality to understand just how ridiculous her argument is. Btw, this seems to be the new right wing talking point on this subject. No “new” rights.
